COFFEE STORY

BEANS
The star of this lot is Caturron, a rare Caturra mutation from Finca Villa Betulia in Acevedo, Huila. Prized for its large cherries, it has the potential for an intense and complex flavor profile.

PRODUCERS
Luis Anibal Calderon, a second-generation grower, has transformed Finca Villa Betulia into a sanctuary for exotic coffee varietals, showcasing their unique potential through his expertise.

PROCESS
An intensive 200-hour anaerobic process called Extended Fermentation 2 (EF2) is used. Whole cherries are fermented in sealed tanks and then sun-dried. This technique results in a wildly expressive and complex cup.

This coffee is a handpicked selection from our exclusive Rosita's Reserve collection, representing the finest quality and most unique flavors of the season.
