Our Story
It all began in 2014 with two sisters, Ada and Kat, and a shared dream of creating a specialty coffee roastery. Ada's first experience with great coffee came from tasting Batangas coffee years ago. She shared this newfound appreciation with Kat, who then began exploring filter coffee from specialty roasters in Singapore.
The Name - Rositas
We named our roastery Rositas in honor of our grandmother, Rosita. The name also means "little roses" in Spanish, a nod to how we see ourselves as her little roses, carrying on her legacy.
Our Expertise
We are a team of siblings and coffee experts dedicated to our craft. Ada specializes in roasting and sensory analysis, while Ipoy is a master of traditional roasting methods. As our green coffee buyer, Kat ensures we source only the best beans, using her skills in coffee tasting and sensory analysis. Our creative vision is led by Tin, our Creative Director.
