Brew Guide: Loveramics Flatbed Dripper

The Loveramics Flatbed Dripper features a newly designed embossment that creates subtle spacing between the paper and the dripper, allowing coffee to brew quickly. Its elegant floral shape increases the surface area by 120%, resulting in a faster brew time.

1. Rinse Filter

Use boiling water (about 205°F) to rinse the flatbed wavy filter, which will remove any paper flavor and preheat the glass jug you are brewing into. Discard the rinse water afterward.

2. Measure and Grind

Grind 20 grams of coffee to a medium grind, resembling regular sand. Add the ground coffee to the flatbed wavy filter.

2. Blooming

Saturate the grounds with water just off the boil (about 205°F), using only enough to cover them. Let it bloom for 15 seconds. Fresh coffee will de-gas or 'bloom,' causing the coffee bed to rise and bubble slightly. Wait for 30 seconds to start your pouring again.

3. Continuous Pour

Slowly pour around the coffee bed in circling motion until you reach 340ml in your scale.

4. Swirl

Before all the water go down your glass jug, gently swirl your flatbed dripper in a circular motion. This should all take you around 3-4 minutes.

5. Sip and Enjoy

Relish the flavors and aromas of your perfectly brewed coffee!
