Burundi Kaneza
Burundi Kaneza
What we tasted: Praline, Nougat, Pomelo
Our Burundi Kaneza has a sweet, nutty praline essence, complemented by the creamy, caramel-like notes of nougat. A refreshing hint of pomelo adds a citrusy brightness to the coffee.

Coffee Story
Burundi Kaneza coffee beans hail from the high-altitude regions of Burundi, a small landlocked country in East Africa known for its rich coffee-growing heritage. Burundi’s coffee farms are predominantly smallholder farms, where coffee cultivation is deeply interwoven with the local culture and community.
The name "Kaneza" translates to "beautiful" in Kirundi, reflecting the stunning landscapes and the exceptional quality of the beans produced. These coffee beans are typically grown at altitudes ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 meters above sea level, benefiting from the ideal climate and fertile volcanic soils. The high elevation and unique terroir contribute to the beans' vibrant acidity and complex flavor profile.
- Axl J.Verified ReviewerRated 5 out of 5 stars1 month agoMy 1st Experience of Burundi Kaneza Beans :>
When it's hot, you can really get that Aromatics of nutty flavors with a hint of Sweetness. It has a notes of Praline and Nougat but when it's warm, You'll have a taste of a little sweet soury which i distinguished as Pomelo. It has a smooth Syrupy texture that has a medium-light body, Making it easy to distinguish the notes. And it has a Bright Acidity and it has a similar mouthfeel as Peanuts too.
This was easy to Brew, you can really get it at first using medium grind to medium coarse. It is Fun and simple experience from Rosita's 🤍
Ps. It has a floral notes of jasmine-like and a little bit of lavender at 20g : 310 ml. And it highlights the sweet soury pomelo.
